Additionally, Guy has over 30 years of experience administering UNIX (AIX, BSD, Linux and embedded devices) and has been assessing the effectiveness of security systems and system configuration reviews for 20 of those years. Over the last 15 years, Guy has been conducting application security and risk assessments that alignment with governance, regulatory and compliance mandates for private sector, public utilities and public sector clients.

Currently, Guy teaches the University of Victoria’s Hacking Club and also provides on-site and virtual seminars on Security Awareness, Cyber Security Incident Response, Penetration Testing, IDS/IPS, and building custom firewall and security tools for the likes of ISACA, British Columbia government and the emerging technology sector. Guy is also currently working on a CTF (Capture-the-Flag) for charity – so bug him about it.
